hi,
is it possible to fit more than 80 minutes on a 700mb/80 minute audio cd? i tried decreasing the frequency range and it halved the file size, but i still can only get 80 minutes on the cd. or are audio cd's fixed at 80 minutes? thanks.

You cannot change the "bitrate" of an audio CD. It is dead set at a particular setting. You can change it of course... but it won't sound right on a CD player afterwards though.
To burn more than 80 minutes, you need a CD burner that can overburn. You can generally overburn by at least one minute on most CD media fairly safely.
If you want more than that, then you will need to buy 90 or 99 minute CD-R discs.
