When I used PowerVCRII I had to edit the registry to unlock the file sizes. Now I have a similar problem with WinDVR3. When I capture straight to NTSC SVCD MPEG2, it starts a new file after 606 mb. We know that you can fit a 800 mb MPEG2 on a SVCD though. Does anyone know how to change the file size limitations in WinDVR3 ?

Just duplicate the SVCD template and change the file split point. Look under setup then Record. You will find the profiles. You can even create your own.
