  1. Not sure which forum to post this on but here it goes...

I am attempting to place my SVCD files on a DVD disk. I have been reading about SVCD2DVD on this site. This program turns my SVCD's into actual DVD's.

What I would like to do is create a very large 4.7GB SVCD instead of an actual DVD. Is there a simple way to do this?

What you is use tmpgenc to put all your SVCD togetter to 1 big file but you need a NTFS disc cause FAT32 doesn't support files larger then 4 GB.

Another problem is that you DVD-player might nog play the file cause you can't burn it as SVCD on a DVD but only as data file so your DVD-player has to play mpg files. Check the dvd players section if your DVD-player does.
    Greatings,

  3. There is no such thing as a 4.7G SVCD, it does not exist.
The nearest you can get is SVCD on DVD video, which it seems you have already done. The main problem there is, it is not DVD compliant. So you never know how any particular player will handle it.
