  1. I am trying to join two mpeg files so I can author using DVDLAB as a one title. They are both about 2.15 gb each.

Tried TMPGEnc Plus (2.521.58.169) and Wombple Mpeg-vcr. They do not finish the job.

Is there a way around this 4 gb problem or anothre app?

    Thanks in advance.

I didn't get as far as you with a 1.5 GIG file. TMPGEnc just totally locked up on me. Took me a few days to get it worked out. I don't think TMPGEnc likes files too much over 1 GIG.

I think it may be something else, I captured several files over 1 GB, about 5 GBs, used AviSynth to join them, and TMPGEnc to encode them all to DVD MPEG format, all at once. TMPGEnc said, "No problem".

  5. The files I have from DVB in Mpeg 2 format. I do not need to encode/reencode simply join them together so I can feed through DVDLAB as a one file.

Reencode/encoding takes too long, and looses quality.

I thought AviSynth was a frameserver only?

Well, all I can say is that is how I did it. Are you running a FAT file system?

Do you get any error messages, and do the mpeg files have identical bit rates and resolutions.
    Hello.

  9. Yeah it works on ntfs drive. However I have not been able to play it with PowerDVD player.

It's size is over 4.3 GB.
