Hi, as the title of this topic suggests, I have tried to encode a DVD video using a DivX file I have from 29fps to 25fps (NTSC to PAL). TMPG does this nicely, but then when i extract the audio from the source file, re-encode it into an AC3 file, and put it in the DVD along with a Demuxed MPG video (M2V), the sound is out of sync. I have a very high suspicion that the Demuxing is doing that, because it worked fine in the movie when i re-encoded the divx file into a new MPG2 file W/audio! The reason i demuxed it is because the DVD authoring program wont accept a pre-muxed file, you have to split them before you can add them together in the authoring process. Also, when I converted the movie to an MPG2, the audio was shocking quality, so I got the source avi (the DivX one), got the audio from that using VirtualDub, and used that.
Any theories, anyone?![]()
