Any program available to check for errors in burned cd/vcd? Sometimes i burn cd's for my friends, but some audio tracks have errors like scratchy /jerky audio, probably from encoding error or burning error itself(mp3 to cda)..i use nero 6 / win 98.. i dont want to play the whole cd if i could scan it for error. thank you in advance for any help.

I believe DVD Info Pro can be used to scan optical media for errors.

You can verify the written data (at least when burning a data CD ROM) with Nero. Look for that option on the status screen you see during the actual burning.
You might also try burning at a slower speed. -
CDCheck - also works with files on hard drives.
