  1. Hi,

Lately I've been converting 23,976fps Divx movies to DVD. What I do is convert it to Mpeg2 with TMPEnc. Then I use pulldown.exe to put the mpeg flags to 29.97fps to use in DVDmaestro and use the -dropframe option for the subtitling to be good in maestro.
I convert the Subrip subtitling to .son for use in DVD maestro, compile it al together en burn in on DVD.

BUT when I try it in my DVD player the picture becomes a bit jerky every few seconds... It's like its 29,97 for like 10 seconds and then become 15fps for 2 seconds. This is not the case, but it looks like this.

Does anyone know a way to fix this??

  2. WOW, I'm really the only one with this problem?

  3. I'm doing something kinda similar (converting anime, which is 23.976, to DVD). I had a problem with my finished file where the video would suddenly jump ahead or pause, and always in the same places. My issue was that I was using CBR instead of VBR, but I'm not sure if this is the case for you too.
