Hello,my friend lent me a film called gangs of new york to do a copy of.The film is on 2 cd's and i want to put it onto 1 dvd-r.I know how to convert to .avi and then to mpeg 2,the question is is that when i drag the 2 mpeg 2 files into tmpgenc dvd author is there a way of putting the 2 files together so there isnt a break or will it not matter as the film will just run normally without being able to see the break when watching the finished dvd-r?
I hope you can understand what i am trying to say,i have checked the guides and it just says you can drag one or more films into the author program but dosent say anything about making a 2 disc film into 1.
Thanks in advance.

This is what I would do:
1. Use Virtualdub to open "Gangs of NY #1"
2. Under "File", select "Append AVI Segment" and select "Gangs of NY #2"
3. Under "Video", select "Direct Stream Copy"
4. Save the AVI
Hope this helps.[/list]
