    Does anyone have this happen to them? It just started recently. I use Nero to burn vcds so I dont know of any other programs that would be as easy. It also happneed when I tried burning an audio cd but then I burned the same cd with Music Match Jukebox and it worked fine. If someone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it

    Does Nero give an error code with the "Illegal Medium" message? Because if it doesn't, there's only three things I can imagine. Well four, actually.

    1) Nero's Power Calibration Area (PCA) test falied,
    2) The disc is a Music CD-R and not a Data CD-R,
    3) You have a High-Speed CD-RW in a drive that does not support HS-RW media,
    4) The disc is upside-down in the tray.

    If you've got a few minutes to burn download VCDEasy's last free version and see if you have any success.
