Alba model ident mystery !

A friend of mine has an Alba dvd player. I have not seen it and my friend says that it does not have a model number on it. She has checked on the back - only patent numbers - I would like to make this player multi region so that I can buy her Finding Nemo on R1. Any ideas ? It was bought for her but she knows not where, although she believes it is a standard UK model bought of the high street. Many Alba hacks on this site but without the model number it's a bit hit and miss as I have to tell her how to do it over the phone (300 miles away from each other)
Please help if you know how to identify this Alba DvD player.

Has she tried a region 1 disc in the player, as some alba players are region free out of the box. No hack required.
