I was looking for a basic VCR/VHS to DVD tool and found this one:
http://www.kworldcomputer.com/kworldcomputer/www.nsf/h/dvdmaker
I inserted the CD that came with it and plugged in the device. Installed the drivers and rebooted... Now whenever the program 'USB 2800 Video' is enabled under my Device Manager - my computer will sometimes freeze up and get the blue screen fatal exception error.
I have WinXP SP1, 2.4GHz P4, 512MB memory....
But when I load the capture software that came with the device - everything works... as long as the software is running... When I'm finished capturing video, I have to disable the 'USB 2800 Video' under my Device Manager right away or the computer will lock up again.... Any ideas???????????????
