I've got an Philips DVDR70 and I'm making backups of my old VHS-movies.

With the exception of Disney-VHS I've burned all my movies.

How can I "remove" the Disney-protection on my VHS-cassettes?

  2. isn't that macrovision you're talking about? You can get little boxes that
filter out that protection, they are connected between vcr and dvd-recorder.
These boxes are illigal and problably wont be for sale in large known stores, maybe in a small independent electro-shop .

  3. These boxes are not illegal. What is illegal is to use one for the purposes of breaking copyright laws.

  8. This one will:

because it has a microchip embedded in one of the plugs, and a power input. It's a funny looking thing but it worked for me!
