You can try the "header trick" which puts an mpeg1 header onto your mpeg2 and then you burn it as a VCD. Many DVD players will play it (many won't) and it's better quality than VCD. Or you take your mpeg2 and re-encode it to VCD-mpeg1 using TMPGEnc, then author and burn.

Here's a guide list for both methods.

  3. yes,, thats what i need to do,,

    the second thing
''Or you take your mpeg2 and re-encode it to VCD-mpeg1 using TMPGEnc, then author and burn. ''

thats exactlly what Im wanting ,,right there,,

but the tmpge is taking the file,,

see to make a long story short[maybe]

I got a file that was an svcd movie like 1.2bg or so in bin/cue format,
cut into 2 bins 2 cues,,

so i tryed iso buster, and vcd to mpeg em,

well it worked,, BUT,, it went from like a widescreen format to like a 480x480 [?i think 480]
ya know like a box screen,,

now TMPge wont open em, i get the ''file unsupported'' thing,

so I went to messing around with other ways etc,

and i got a mpeg 2 for audio,
& mpeg 1 for video,, or vice versa, cant recall exactlly ,,
I'd have to pul it up an look,,

but yeah,, ones mpeg1. & the other is mpeg2,

Im pretty sure thats my problem,

as far as the box screen thing,,thats got my goofed,
ive never seen a file go from likw widescreen to boxscreen?

Maybe thats whyMpge wont take it also,,

    So what should I do,,

Is there anoither way for me to get around this?

I mean I'll go right back to the plain bin/cue file an start fromthere if ness.

Ive been at this thing all day literally!

An SVCD is 480x480 resolution so don't worry about how it looks on your computer monitor. Follow the link I posted, take your mpeg and try the header trick, if that doesn't work use dvd2avi>Tmpgenc. Both guides are there.
