Hi there.
I've ripped several scenes from different movies using Smart Ripper over the last year.
I've just gotten a DVD-Burner and I want to know how to burn the .VOB files onto a DVD, and not as Data mode, but DVD-Video mode.
If anybody has done this before, can you please help me to do it.
Thanks.

Hi havash,
Don't take this as gospel coz I've only recently started using it, but I believe that TMPGEnc DVD Author (trialware for 30 days I think) would be a place to start.
I think it can take in .VOB files and then you can create your own menu to play them. There are plenty of guides on the left nav bar.
I would say that if this does work, then there may be other DVD authoring tools that do the same too - check out the tools section for others.
Maybe someone can confirm or deny my belief?
Good luck...There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
Carpe diem.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room. -

TDA will open VOBs by themselves if you "add file" instead
of "add DVD video" -

Unfortunately TDA recognizes Time Stamps in vob files and will truncate the file at the first time stamp it finds. For exanple I loaded 25 min. vob,but because it contains time stamps it only loaded 2 min-55 secs. of the file. Since most vob files contain time stamps it's value in opening vob files is questionable at best.

There is a timestamp in every Gop header. Must be something else
stopping it. -

Anyone know how to fix this?
