Hey luvvbuzz,
To answer your question (or at least part of it), RCE means Region Coding Enhancement. It sets the DVD to whatever country you are at. I'm from the US so the default of RCE 1 is fine, but I think DVD Decrypter's default is set to making your stripped DVD region free.
May be someone else can help you at that as I have not really messed around with other region DVDs.Good luck!!

ok thanks for taking the time to reply, i an still a bit unsure then as to whether i should set the rce to number 2 as going by what you are saying it needs to be on 2 as i am in region 2. if anybody else has any comments please lets hear them.

Luvvbuz,
I am in the UK and I have just checked my settings. My settings are set to no. 2 HOWEVER you dont need to worry about it.
When you rip your dvd it makes it region free anyway. I have sent loads of my stuff to the USA with no problems.
