I am using windows 98SE. I've been using tmpgenc plus [v2.58] for months and never had a problem converting asf/wmv files to DVD compliant files....until now. I can load a wmv or asf file into the project manager, when I attempt to edit the file to make the video clip shorter, I get the following error message
"TMPGENC caused an exception 10H in module MP43DMOD.DLL at 0187:073e5c5d."
I read on aonther thread that if I change the environmental settings it should eliminate this problem.... it didn't do it for me. So I tried another approach. I used asftools to convert the asf/wmv files to avi since tmpegenc seems to be partial to avi files. The avi files loaded perfectly and I was able to edit and convert them with out a hitch....... untill the playback. There is no audio when I use avi files.
ANy suggestions???
