I cant seem to get my computer (O/S Windows XP) to recognise my Sony TRV27E DV camera via the Firewire. When I connect the camera, I can
see a device in the "61833 Device Class" (using Device
Manager) but I get the following message when I
investigate the device status further "Windows cannot
load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may
be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)"
Does anyone have any advice as I am unable to capture any video until the computer recognises the camera. I have tried Adobe Premiere 6 and Pinnacle Studio 8 but cannot capture from either - I believe I have loaded the USB driver as stated in the DV manual. (apparently I only
need that for USB capture though???)
Thanks
