  1. I was watching TechTV yesterday and saw a program to overclock you graphics card called PowerStrip. I downloaded it and tried it to try to get a little more performance out of my AIW Radeon 7500 and did see improvement. I was playing a game and quit the game and tried to start the TV program. after the window appeared i got an error message that said ATIMMC has generated errors and will be closed. I then restarted my computer and tried again same thing. Then i uninstalled all ATI software and reinstalled. Restarting as neccessary. It stil wont work. Any ideas? Any help will be great.

  2. i uninstalled Powerstrip and went in the registry and removed the key for PStrp. Then restarted. I have also scanned my system with 2 antivirus programs (AVG, AntiVir XP) and 2 Spyware/Adware programs (AdAware 6, Spyboy Search and Destroy) and found nothing wrong. I had a hunch so i reinstalled Windows Media Encoder 9 and it still didnt work. Also my syatem has some lag. After i start it up and try to open IE or my volume control or anything it takes about 5 seconds to for it to catch up. and after that i click the IE icon on the taskbar and it takes a second to pop up. It usually happens instantly. I remember having this problem before but cant remember how i fixed it. Does anybody have any help whatsoever?

  3. I got it working. I downloaded all the latest software from ati's web site and redownloaded wme 9. I then uninstalled all ATI, WME software and deleted the ATI Folders i could find. Then i reinstalled display drivers, and wme and mmc 8.7 and everything works fine now. Just one thing, before i had a video soap settings that improved the picture a lot ( although after i made the settings it wouldnt let me edit the video soap anymore) does anybody know how to enable it?
