    I am trying to make a backup of a dvd+r disc
    I can successfully create hard disk iso image and burn the iso back to dvd-r
    The resulting dvd-r work fine on my stand alone dvd players
    But the resulting dvd-r can not be read in my computer anymore.

    What have I done wrong? Is there anything special I need to do to backup dvd+r -> dvd-r?

    my dvd roms are as follows:
    * pioneer dvd 116 dvd reader
    * nec nd1300a dvd burner.

  4. Does the DVD+R even show up on your computer? If not it may be you can burn DVD+R but you burner can't read DVD+R ( as the Pioneer 106D ). I discovered after burning a couple of DVD's.
