Photo SVCD for DVD & PC/Software/ Ulead DVD Picture Show

I want to burn an SVCD comprised of photos--sometimes music & transitions. I tried Ulead DVD PictureShow 2 and it works fine in a DVD player, but isn't packed up to self run in a PC. The Ulead PDF help file shows an option on about the 3rd step to include *dvd player*. It's a check box option that I believe includes a player on the disc to enable a self-running slide show when inserted into a pc cd-rom drive. What I'd like to know is: Is there a particular build or version # of DVD PictureShow that has this option?? The help file says it's available only on certain versions. I believe mine is 2.0 and not a demo and doesn't include this option as pictured in the menu..

Or, can anyone reccomend good SVCD software that will make a disc compatble on both a home DVD player and package up the disc with self-running software for a PC? Options wanted are Preferably JPEG photos, transitions, can add music.

Not sure if you're asking a CD capacity question or trying to determine if I have a demo version. I've burned 1 photo SVCD with Ulead. 26 photos with transitions and a music bed. The actual # of photos I can fit on one disc will depend on how large the audio track & image files are in kb's.

Again, Ulead states the *add DVD player software* option for PC's is not available in all versions. My question is, Which Version has it?

I'll answer my own question after contacting Ulead tech support.

Using PictureShow2, the option to include DVD player software (for a PC) when authoring an S/VCD, is only available on an SE version of the software that is shipped with some Pioneer writers.

That may be the first time I've seen bundled software that's better than the retail version.
