Photo to DVD slideshow software

I'm trying to find some application that would allow me to create a DVD slide-show that can be watched on telly from a DVD player.
I tried ProShow producer but the output quality is really bad and I've got problems creating menus. I would need 2 menu pages and with Photodex product it's too complicated for me. But the main thing is the output quality anyway. I went through the comments people left for various tools in the Tools section and looks like there is something wrong wit each of them. Are there any alternatives or other not too complicated ways of doing it?
