Hi
My old DVD rom drive is about to give up the ghost, so I'm thinking of replacing it with a second DVD writer.
I have a couple of questions -
1. With 2 DVD writers, will I be able to burn the same project on to both drives at the same time?
2. Will I be able to burn different project A on to drive 1 at the same time as burning project B on to drive 2? It would be excellent to be able to do this.![]()
I use either Nero 6 or RecordNowMAx, depending on how I feel at the time.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Cheers

Well, bit the bullet and got a second DVD writer and the multiple burning works. One thing I've noticed though, is that although it says it's doing multiple burning, on my PC it actually burns them one after the other rather than simultaneously. Is this normal?

I have not tried with DVD burners, but I tried using multiple burners (Sony DRU500A and LG 8320) for CD-R with Nero. You have to check the "use multiple burners" in expert mode and you must be burning the same project to both drives. That way, I burned at 16x (my CD-R rating) on both drives at the same time, not consecutively.
