Hi ppl
I got lots of problems with my old Optorite so ive just sold it on EBay and brought a Pioneer 106.
A few Dvd images I have are .IMG. These seem to only open with DVD Decrypter so im guessing there an extension that only DVD Decrypter knows.
I have nothing against DVD Decrypter, but for some reason I can not burn above 2X.
My drive is obviosuly a 4X drive, ive tried updating the frimware aswell, but still no joy. Im using Princo "BulkPaq" 4X discs which I heard were pretty good for the money.
Funny thing is DVD Decrypter detects the max burn speed of the Discs at 4X and the max writing speed of my Drive at 4X.
If there is any other Software that can burn .IMG or any reason why DVD Decrypter wont burn above 2X I would like to know.
Cheers peeps.

It's probably the recorder not liking your media - Bulkpaq can be variable to say the least.

Tempted though I am to say something derisive...
Princo are mediocre media at best. Many people like them, but many others can't get them to work at all, nevermind burn at full speed.
Try some GOOD media before declaring it a drive or software problem.

I've got a similar thread right now, but no one has responded yet.
I have 4x discs but burn only 1x on Decrypter.
Off Topic - What problems did you have with the Optorite? My current burner is an optoriteDD0203
