    The two files: cue file is 154b while the bin is 457mb

    but when I load the cue file onto Nero, it says both files are 457mb (totalling 915mb) making it impossible to fit on the cd. Is there a way I can work around/solve this or is that how Nero works?

    In some cases Nero does not burn cue/bin files properly. I suggest to use CDRWin or CDRDAO.
    CDRDAO is free and easy to use with the latest TSCV or VCDImagerEasy GUI's.

    If you want to use CDRDAO independently as a CUE/BIN burner, then you can use the Win32 GUI availabe for it called "XDuplicator". This is freeware too. http://users.forthnet.gr/ath/axatis/XDuplicator/
