  1. Most seem to want MPG or AVI as input. I'm "captureing" using a Panasonic DMR-E30. I bought it because I thought you could edit with it, but that only works for DVD-RAM so now I plan on using it simply as a capture device then edit & burn the finished DVD on the PC ... but I need an editing/authoring program that will work w/ the DVDs that the Panny produces ... VIDEO_TS folder, VOBs, etc (just like your store-bought DVDs except no encryption to deal with).

    Any advice?
