  1. Over the past year, I've ripped about 300 movies to my server using DVD Shrink. I rip with no compression, main movie only, no subtitles, and english AC3 audio only. I rip each move to a single VOB file, and have some PHP code that serves them up via Apache for my media player (ActionTec Media Player). Also, If I need to remake the DVD, I can use DVD Shrink or another program to burn any of them back to DVD. Also, for movies on 2 disks (i.e. LOTR) I use VOB Merge to merge them into a single VOB file.

I'm starting to get tight on disk space (server has 1 TB) so I want to find sone way to batch convert most of them to Xvid or DivX. This should reduce disk usage to make room for about 200 more movies. By that time, I'll have more $$$ for some new drives. (I have about 700 total I want to eventually have on the system)

AGK was almost exactly what I need, but it won't give me audio since I did not rip with DVDdecryptor so the stream info is not available.

    Any suggestions?

    VirtualDub-MPEG2.

God strike me down when I fill up a 1 TB drive.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Don't say that man; my girlfriend just bought a 160 external 8 days ago, and she's already complaining that it's 'full'.

Companies give us the space, and we will fill it up.
