I currently drive a Doublecab Toyoya Tacoma. I traded in my extended cab pickup for this, right after we got married. I need a truck for work, but I also needed something with room for a family, so we bought this with the money from our reception, instead of going on a honeymoon. So far I'm happy with it. The only thing that I miss is the manual transmission.
Also, do you prefer manual or automatic? Manual all the way, for me. It took me about two months to get used to braking without downshifting.

Ford F-150, work truck. Manual shift, which I prefer, but they're making fewer and fewer of them these days. Automatics are better than they used to be and nobody wants to learn how to manually shift. What's more, to TEACH someone how is utterly nerve-wracking.
Pull! Bang! Darn! -
I prefer the newer automatic transmissions for flat land driving, my personal vehicle has the locked torque converter so that it uses engine compression to hold back on hills. My work vehicle has a five speed manual and works better in hills using compression braking and gearing, but is a pain in the ass around town with shifting all the time. I drove a big truck for about 10 years with a 20 speed transmission and I got real sick of shifting gears. I told a car saleman once if they can't build a automatic that can shift better than a person then the auto industry is in a sorry state.

Usually drive either my car, a 1993 Honda Civic or my parents car, a 2003 Holden Commodore (think a new Pontiac GTO but with 4 doors, both made by Holden).

This is my car, a 1971 MGB Roadster:
We have a (family) car, a Ford Mondeo, but that's not even worthy of having it's photo taken, let alone uploading it.
Damn those average, run of the mill production cars

I have none of those things. I've wanted one since the first time I saw one in person, its a neat car. -
Sheesh! I have a 94 Saturn SC2 with 216,000 miles (original clutch!!) and a 92 Oldsmobile Cutlass station wagon with 41,000 miles. Both will be run into the ground!

I was part of a MG club in my home town for about 10years...Kinda lost track in the last few though....Only time I catch back up with them is when the dang electric fuel pump goes out. I bet I have more than 10 of them that I use as parts.......Best thing is replacing the EGR assembly....I use a piece of old inner tube LOL LOLOL

This is my second, although my first was a 1978 MG Midget.
I couldn't afford the Roadster back then, I was skint and both the asking prices of Roadster's, combined with insurance for a 23 year old made it one step too far.
This one won't be my last, although I would like a GT as well as my Roadster.
Been great this last two years, hardly a penny spent, most been aesthetics to make her look more pretty
But having a second shild due in March hell, I'd take £7k!

I've got a '99 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS, and if that wasn't enough I added a turbocharger and a tons of other upgrades. It's supposedly the longest-lasting turbocharged RS in the US since most of the others suffer an early end (blown pistons). I have over 60k miles on the turbo kit with no problems to speak of (other than flaky idle control which forces me to warm it up for a minute or two in the really cold winters here). It has 165bhp in stock form, I have no idea what it's pushing now

this is my car, a peugeot 306 1.6i roland garros. it is a nice car, not too flash, but not a crappy thing either. it has cream leather interia and its just great, best car i ever bought. but i used to ride motorcycles, until i got sick of being knocked off of them by blind car drivers....but thats another story!

Currently, while I'm home from uni, my parent's Nissan Almera (X reg). It's a 1.5l job, great fuel efficiency but isn't anything special at all. Feel a bit like a sheep in amongst the flock driving that.
I have promised myself that, if I graduate, then I will sometime get a Vauxhall VX220 Turbo. Affordable (sort of) and very, very quick! It'd need to be in deep metallic blue though, favourite colour! (Chemists: 0.9M copper (II) sulphate)
Just seeing you guys talking about not liking manuals, if you learn to drive in an auto in the US of A, can you drive a manual after passing your test? Or am I just being silly and/or ignorant?

for the family trips - 1990 Ford Econoline E150 hightop conversion van
for the wife - 1998 Chevy Blazer 4wd
for the fun - 1986 Porsche 944 (all original - and yes, it corners like it's on rails!) :P
Cobra - yes, your license allows you to drive either manual or auto.
I personally have always had at least one 'stick' car in my house since I could drive. My parents hated not being able to borrow my car (they couldn't drive stick). I like the 'control' thing with my 944. It makes the country road drives all that more fun. -
I can honestly say that the new one (which I had NOT seen until today) doesn't do it for me the same as the old ones. But I still want one, just to much money for what will honestly never turn into a daily driver type car. Maybe I can find one that tore up real bad and fix it....
