Help please, DVD+R and DVD-R unable to playback

hello,
need some help, did 20 dvd for kids soccer teams, made them all dvd -rs, written with veritas record dx, and sony dru 510a?(writes both) 2 parents have said theirs didnt work (all worked on my computer/dvd player..a samsung) they had a Toshiba sd2800 (which is supposed to read both formats) the other has a SONY dvd player i havent got the model number yet. so i wrote them a +R again do dice. does it matter if the Audio_ts and Video_ts file folders are CASE SENSTITVE? should the TS be in caps? i have nero (the latest) i could use (havent yet). I did add an extra folder with stills that are viewable on computer dvd drives (this did not efffect playback on some 15 discs (different familys/players ) thusfar. but i removed that file and tried the +R and -R again to no avail. if it wasnt the CAPS in the filefolders what else could i have done incorrectly? i really would like them to see their kids soccer playing.

My understanding is that the folders should be ALL CAPS VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS
