  1. Greetings,

When I am done making a successful backup copy of a DVD I usually generate the folder on my D drive. I usually like to keep the movie on my C drive for a little while so I can view them through media player. If I just "copy" the folder from the D drive (Right click the folder, copy) then paste the folder on for example my C drive desktop and then double clik the IFO it never works. It gives me the errror in media player "cannot skip to the requested location at this time!

Can anyone explain what is up here and what I am doing wrong? It works fine on the other drive?

    Cheers!

P.S Well, I guess something is wrong with the desktop destination. If I just cut if from the desktop and put it under the C directory, it works. Oh well!

  2. Some software DVD players generate a "playlist" that determines what files make up the "disc" you want to play.

Unfortunately, these will also contain the LOCATION of these files, so if you move them the playlist will not be valid.

    Could be your problem... ?

Well, really thinking about it, I guess really the path is Documents and settings, then user, then the desktop. Some players probably reads this as the files actually don't exist since they are not on C:/desktop! That is probably it!
