Hey, i have a question. Why is it that the output from my video card via s-cable shows extraordinarily large on a television screen? My monitor res is 1280x1024 and i have to go 800x600 for it to fit TV. Can anybody please shed some light on the situation? Is it my card that's got the prob, dogg?![]()

The TV-Screen can't show any bigger resolution. A TV is only about 352*576 pixels, which is the S-Video standard. 800x600 is not really a valid resolution for a TV, because 800x600 is a 1:1 aspect ratio, but the TV is 4:3. The thing is 800x600 at least uses "all pixels", so even that all 800 lines won't be visible, you'll still fill out 576 of the 600 lines. (PAL)
