I have a dvd that i want to copy. Firstly i tried simple copy of the video-ts folder and pasting to my hard drive, but it said it couldnt read/copy
I checked this out and thats the file that provides the menus.
I tried dvd decrypter and was given these error msgs
i/o error
scsi status 0x02
interpretation:check condition
I tried the dvd in the dvdrom drive and also my dvdwriter drive
I can play the movie on both drives and scrolled to see it even readingthe end of the movie and selectingscenes was still possible
What can i do to copy my dvd
Im thinking of ripping the dvd into svcd mpg files, then using another program to re-create the dvd video-ts files buts its gonna take hours to rip the dvd
Any easier ways for me to copy the dvd?

i have came across this problem in dvd decryptor, using normal mode for writing iso it just gave me unrecoverable read errors, after about 30 of these error messages i gave up and i turned on ignore errors but disc still struggled.
The way i got around it was to enable detect mastering errors, enabled ignore read errors and used dvd rom instead of writer, now my dvd rom is set to region 1 and disc was region 4 i received a message saying region mismatch and that it would use slower brute force CSS cracking method i ok'd this and disc went thru fine apart from getting 1 read error i clicked on retry and it went thru. i haven't burned my disc yet to see if there are any probs such as sync issues so don't know 100% if this works but you could give it a try -
have you run out of hard drive space for the decrypted files? you only had 10g left 3 months ago. you might want to defrag the drive also...i have found explorer can give false totals at times. but after a scandisk, or error-checking run the correct remaining storage space is presented. good luck.

Also do you have a valid ASPI layer installed for your OS? None of the windows OS come with one standard (and I don't fully trusts Nero's). Make sure you have the newest verison of DVD Decrypter (completely uninstall old verison/s).
