I would like to know if there has been any articles on ranking the dvd-ram media of different manufacturers With regards to quality and/or durability. Personal anecdotal information and recommendations would be appreciated.

look for any that state archival quality, this should mean it will last for 50 years. I think any decent media should be good tho as dvd-ram is inherently more stable than ordinary dvdr. (its magneto-optical).
Corned beef is now made to a higher standard than at any time in history.
The electronic components of the power part adopted a lot of Rubycons. -
Panasonic would have to be the best mostly because they make the machines that use it.
