  1. I have d/l some music videos and they are in vob format. I was told you could put them onto a DVD. I know how to burn movies in Nero, I was wondering how to go about this?
I only have one VOB file and no other files. Example:
    Madonna-Music.vob (130mb) file

I think I need to do something like TS_(something)_1 ??

Looking for some assistance. Thank you in advance!

  2. Unless you have one of those rare players that can play raw MPEG2 or VOB files, you will need to AUTHOR the VOB file and make a whole set of DVD compliant files(IFO/VOB/BUP).

I know that TMPGEN DVD Author and DVD-Lab will work with VOBs directly and build the structure you need for you, and both have 30 day functional trials.

  3. Yeah, I have TMPGEN DVD Author since I was trying to make my own DVD with menus. Can't figure out how to build the files though for the VOB files. Having a hard time trying to locate the info on the web too. Any help or links would be great. Thank you again.

  4. If you only have one vob file, rename it to VTS_01_01.VOB then use Ifoedit to create IFO for that file, next drop all files that you just created in the VIDEO_TS folder of Nero and burn to a DVD.
