Hiya,
When I make a VCD/SVCD/XVCD/XSVCD some of the scenes that contains motion
and bright light starts to shake when played on my standalone DVD (Sony
DVP-s535) and watched on my TV. I can not figure out why. I am using TMPGEnc
2.0 for encoding and Nero 5.5.5.1 for burning.
Could anyone tell me what to do ?-I have tried allmost everything, but
nothing seems to work. I have a feeling that it has something to do with the
bitrate kapacity of my DVD-player or maybe something to do with the
DVD-playes max. read-capability (4x, 8x, 12x og 10x).
Any helpfull ideas ????
Henrik

Ive posted numerous things on this forum try the folling.
use a shorter GOP sequence (1,1,1)[IBPB]. use the MPEG STANDARD setting in quantize matrix, and use the SOFTEN BLOCK NOISE setting on 25/25. if you go higher than 50 you actually ADD more blockiness to the video.
