Hi, i bought my first DVD burner a few weeks ago, i backed up 3 DVD's
with DVD SHRINK and then NERO they play great on my PS2 and my DVD player, i read a few people in this forum saying its better to rip with
DVD Decrypter then DVD SHRINK then NERO but when i ripped with
DVD Decrypter then tried to open the files with DVD SHRINK i get errors
saying DVD SHRINK cannot open the files, anyone know what im doing wrong and is it better to rip with DVD Decrypter or let DVD SHRINK rip the DVD? i ripped in file mode with DVD Decrypter.
    thanks

I've found that DVDShrink version 2.3 will open some DVD files that DVDShrink 3.0beta won't open. When I have to use 2.3, I open the DVD files, backup them up with no compression and then open the new files with 3.0beta 5.

  3. that usually happens when you just rip the movie itself out. you need to rip all files because DVD shrink needs the master IFO to work correctly. either that or rip just the movie and run it through IFO Edit to create new IFO files for the movie alone, then DVD Shrink can open it.
