  1. hey where can I get a really high quality converter for some vob files to mpeg1 I tried flask mpeg but it would only do the first vob file and I would have to do it one at a time and I want them all together

    You will not get "really high quality" doing that.
    You will get crap no matter what you do, especially if
    you are trying to make a VCD.

    If you insist, use TMPGenc.

    I agree, I followed his guide using Smartripper>DVD2Avi>TMPGEnc. Works great.

  5. thanks for the replies I will try the temp prog but I noticed it was avi based but I have some vob files

    and one more thing when i use flask mpeg I gett a new screen that is labled bbmpeg and when that is complet it stops flask also and it only converts part of the vob files (i use the ifo files)

    Before you use tmpgenc, you have to use dvd2avi to get a d2v file and a wav file and then you can encode w/ tmpgenc.

  7. @FOO, quality is in the eye of the beholder, for me, I think VCD's give great quality, for you they are not. That's just a matter of opinion.
