I am having a lot of problems getting my final output to DVD to look good. It looks very blurry. I am bringing in both photos and video from a Hi8 source. I use the AIW 8500 Radeon card and use the Ulead Video Studio6. The edits look great but the quality is terrible. I have a Pioneer A05 DVD burner. I am downloading the file as a MPEG2. but probably don't have my settings correct. I spent 20 hours messing with it this weekend and seemed to be getting worse products.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Some more info is needed please
Are you capturing in PAL or NTSC??
What size are you capturing at??
I don't have a AIW - but are you capping AVI or MPEG??
    If MPEG - what bitrate??
    IF AVI - what codec??
IF AVI - what encoder are you exporting AVI to MPEG in??
What MPEG bitrate are you using??
    CBR or VBR??

That's enough for starters I think
Oh - what authoring tool are you using??

Where in the process are you saying "yuck, poor quality video"
