I've created a Slide show from JPG files with an audio track using Nero 6.0. The SVCD plays fine on my PC. But sporadically on my DVD player (Philips 724AT). By sporadic I mean, some times it plays just fine, other times it won't. To get it to work I have to continually open and close the drawer. It's almost as if the thing has to warm up for a 1/2 hour before it will play an SVCD. The SVCD is burned on a CD-RW disc. When I insert the SVCD it will try to load for a few seconds and then terminate with a "No Disk" message. I'm using a Pioneer DVR106-d D (dvd/cd burner).

It does play CDs and DVDs with no problem (minus a DVD freeze now and then).
