  1. Based in UK, I have a bush TV which is NTSC compatible. When playing region free disks in my un-mod PS/2, the picture is B&W. Been told that as long as the TV is NTSC compat should not be a problem. Any ideas?

    Thanks

Some PAL TVs are indeed NTSC compatible, but need to deliberately be set to NTSC to view the same. Or maybe to auto.
For the nth time, with the possible exception of certain Intel processors, I don't have/ever owned anything whose name starts with "i".

  4. Many thanks - The TV auto switches for NTSC, will try the cable from Argos

  5. Check the SCART socket assignment on the TV, too - I've got a fistful of them on the back of my TV, and only one of them will allow the TV to correctly display NTSC.

  7. usually a PAL TV with NTSC capability will only run NTSC through one port, which is usually the RGB Scart.
