  1. I got the above errors when doing asf to avi conversion in both virtualdub 1.2 and 1.3. Anybody knows the solution for that?

The original asf file was "filtered" by asfcut.

  2. I AM HAVING THE SAME DAMN PROBLEM RIGHT NOW. Its friggin 2 am and i have been working for 5 hours on this. I have been to over a dozen web sites, downloaded asf tools, tmpg, and virtual dub 1.3 as posted on help. I even when to drastic measures and attempted to load the win amp 1.1 and create a separate wav file and code the 2 together. Dropping video with the ASF tools program converting to AVI and the audio is awful. So what the hell is going on? I am willing to send the movie to someone just so they can see I am not a blithering idiot. Its dont say a word and I have joined PART 1 and PART 2 together using ASF tools. It plays fabulously with Windows Media Player in its original ASF format but does not want to convert worth a shit. What gives ?

    HELP US PLEASE!!!!

  5. In virtualdub, when you goto VIDEO/compression, make sure you are using a proper decompressor. I remember i had to use virtualdub version 1.3c to conveert ASF to AVI because 1.4c didnt have ASF support. try locating version 1.3c
