I had asked earlier if anyone knew why when recording with NERO that my sound was stopping after a few minutes into a VCD recording. The problem was that the ISO properties were not set right. It seems that if you do not have them set correctly it will change the file names. If you have a space or a dash it will change it to an underscore. Since the file name has been changed, when it goes to pull up that file it can no longer find it. Here is the solution that I came up with and it has worked every time I've tried since I found the problem.
FILE NAME LENGTH: Set to ISO level 2
This will set you FORMAT to Mode 2 / XA
CHARACTER SET: ASCII
I then checked the box for JOLIET and I checked ALL of the boxes relaxing ISO restrictions.
This leaves the file names in place as they were, changing nothing and letting everything be read like it is suppose to be. I sure hope that this helps someone. I did not realize that these things had ever been changed from what they originally were and has caused havoc with me for several weeks now.
