  1. I need to create a simple piece of DVD/CD-ROM creation software.

The software needs to allow the user to:

    1. Set templates - including backgrounds, colour and styles
    2. Create navigation between the pages - add/remove buttons
    3. Export the content onto a DVD and CD-ROM.

I'd be interested in knowing if anyones knows of any companies out there that do this. Other than the industry big boys!

Obviously we are looking for a very simple version of a DVD/CD-ROM creator.

  2. There are several packages that do this already, look in the tools section.

  3. Sorry I dont think I was clear in my post.

We are looking for a bespoke tool, or a tool that we can bespoke ourselves.

Would you know of any products/companies/programmers out there that would do this or be interested in doing this?

    Thanks

Forgive my asking, but why would you want to create a simple program that does all these things when so many already exist. Why go to the effort of creating something new when you are only duplicating your work?

  5. Valid point.........We want to produce a bespoke piece of DVD-CD-ROM authoring kit, that we can then give to our client who wants to roll this piece of software out to 450+ people.

Therefore products currently out there will not do this, and purchasing even the simpliest of tools (x 450 the price) will cost more than building a bepoke kit and rolling that out.

Do you know of any tools out there where you can purchase a license and bepoke it?

It is a difficult one.....just really wanted to get a feel of what DVD/CD-ROM experts thought, before we take it on.

Ideally we could do with 2 progammers who would be prepared to write the software, within a given timeframe........unless there is something out there that we could use?????

    Any thoughts?
