I dl a movie MPEG1 from the Web which was over 1GB. I just want to cut the movie into 2 parts such that they can be burnt as VCD.
I used TMPGEnc Plus to cut it. The first part ran ok. But when I tried to make the 2nd part, TMPGEnc reported that there was error in the Video streaming. How can I fix it?
I read that a solution is to convert the MPEG1 into AVI by VirtualDub and then re-convert the AVI back to MPEG1 by TMPGEnc. This obviously is not my preferred solution as there would be 2 conversions that would definitely affect the final quality.
Has anyone a better solution?

You might want to try one of these guides.
