hi all,
ive a been having a few problems getting dvd+r to play in my recorder, the make is a philips dvd634. When i burn a movie onto a dvd-rw it will play fine, but when i burn the same movie onto a dvd+r it skips every few seconds in the player, this happens with evry one i try to burn, the media i am using is packard bell,
Can anyone help??

Tiz likely the media. DVD media quality is extremely crucial in the success of backing up movies.
Set aside your Packard Bell, and try a Maxell, Ritek, Phillips, or Memorex.
My guess is that you'll no longer have that pesky skipping problem.
This exact question is answered on these forums at least twice a day.....so if u click "search" above and type in *skipping*, you'll feel silly about not searching before asking. -
does anyone know a reasonably cheap supplier or DVD+R disks in the uk?
