Hello. I keep running into a problem and I hope someone out there know why. I tried backing up A couple of DVDs by splitting them between 2 -R disks and when I went to play them in my Sony only one of the 2 disks would play every time. The one that didn't work would either play few a few seconds and go black or I would just get an error screen. I am using DVDShrink3 and Nero Express and doing the same exact process for both disks. Can anyone give me any suggestions on why this is happening. Is it the process or the disks? Any help would really be appreciated.

Thanks for your response.
In Shrink I Open disk and, then click on re-author. In the new window I add what I want and add the chapters I want put on the disk. Then I click back up and save it to a VIDEO_TS folder.
In Nero Express I click on DVD-Files. A widow pops up with an AUDIO_TS folder and a VIDEO_TS folder. I delete the AUDIO_TS and add the VIDEO_TS folder with the files I just backed up. Then I click Next and then Burn.
I tired backing up Hulk by splitting it over 2 disks Disk 1 didn't work, but Disk 2 worked great. I then tried backing up 28 Days Later on only 1 disk and that didn't work either.
My player is a Sony DVP-S500D. Thanks for any info -
in shrink i assume you re-authored twice for each disc, right? each time you used the start/end function on each disc too, right?
i also assume the contents of each shrunken folder plays on your pc with powerdvd, etc.
okay, if that is the case do not delete the AUDIO_TS folder though it is empty...most players, especially sony, need it for compatibility.
if that does not work take the extra step and create an ISO for each of the folders where you have the shrunken files with ImageTool Classic. then burn the iso with nero or DVD Decrypter. good luck. -
Thanks noki. I am going to give it a try now. Any idea where I can find ImageTool Classic? TIA

Thanks again noki. I found it.
Does anyone know if ImgTool Burn 1.00.9 automatically creates the ISO. I found a lot of guides on how to do it, but they are all are for ver. 0.90 and it is different the 1.00.9
