  1. Hi,

    I am very new in the land of DVD burning and I have the following question(s):

    I decrypted a DVD5 using DVD Decrypter, and finally this went well.
    Now I'm trying to burn the decrypted files on a DVD+R using Nero 6.
    It is coming with the following error message:

    DVD-files reallocation failed.

    Also, shouldn't there be audiofiles aswell???...i only see video files.
    Can anyone help me with this?

    thanks!

  2. hi djvyrus

    i first saw your post on another topic (slow rip speed w_NEC 1300a)...have somewhat the same problem (max 4.9x speed). anyway need much more info regarding HOW you are attempting to burn in Nero. as an aside if the disc is DVD5 rip to ISO with Decrypter instead of File Mode and burn ISO with Decrypter!
    i use nero 5.5.10.42 and have no prob.
    the AUDIO_TS folder you are referring to should be empty. most burning progs have you create one for compatibility reasons (with your settop). if you have a DVD Audio (not video) disc that is where the music files are.

  3. noki,

    This message will appear when I select DVD-Video mode.
    I think I do the normal actions:

    * Select DVD-Video mode
    * Copy the files to VIDEO_TS
    * Hit the burn button

    If I use the DVD ISO/UDF mode this message will not appear.

    I think that the Video mode should be the main option ofcourse.
    I could not test the ISO/UDF mode yet, because my pc keeps on crashing.

    Can someone give any advise on this???

    Once you've ripped the files with DVD Decrypter, you may need to author them into the form that Nero needs. I tried ripping then burning like u mentioned and it didn't work...even tho the files were less than 4.3 gb. Once I ran them thru DVD2One, they burnt fine becuz even tho DVD2One didn't have to compress the files, it did put them into the proper form.

    I use DVD Decrypter in IFO (movie only) mode, then run the resulting files thru DVD2One, then burn them with Nero 6 in DVD-Video mode. I've burnt dozens of DVD's like this with no problems and no coasters. If I want the entire DVD...menus, extras and all, I use DVD Decrypter in FILE mode, then use DVD2One and Nero as already mentioned. Haven't had any problems that way either.

    Never used DVD Decrypter in ISO mode. Haven't had a need to. I started out using IFO and FILE modes and stuck with em cuz they worked brilliantly.

    Someone inevitably will recommend that u use DVD Shrink (free) to rip and compress. You can use that too, but it's not nearly as fast and easy to use as the DVD Decrypter/ DVD2One technique.

  5. when you have a dvd-5, all you need to do in DVDDECRYPTER is save the file in ISO mode. First select ISO read, then burn with DVDDECRYPTER. Select ISO write, then the ISO file. You don't need NERO.

    If it's a DVD-9 you must use another program beside DVDDECRYPTER like DVD2ONE or IFOEDIT. Because some files are missing that you need. IFOEDIT or DVD2ONE makes the missing files for example the BUP file. If you don't use one of these programs you can't burn with NERO.

  6. This DVD2ONE proggie needs a serial key....
    Does someone have a suggestion where to get this key?
    I know it isn't allowed here to put up the key on the forum, but if anyone knows a website, please paste the url...

  7. DVD2ONE.COM will give you a serial... for a bit of cash.

    It's a good program - if it does the job and you like it, you really should consider paying for it.

    Someone pasting a URL is still advocating warez and the theft of intellectual property, so that's a no-no. Naughty, naughty !
