Hi, got some movies in avi 25fps and want to convert them to mpg with TMPGenc. I've already done it a few times, but the resulting mpg plays jerky a few times 7/8 times during the whole movie and just for a second (like if it dropped a frame). The avi source plays very smoothly though. I use the wizard in TMPGenc and the only thing I change is the "Full screen, keep aspect ratio" option. Rest seems to be fine: 25fps, constant bit rate, DC precision 9 and always more than 4000/4500 bps. Is there any way I can improve the quality of the resulting movie? What seems to be the problem? If this could help, the avi source was compressed through Virtualdub on mpeg 4 codec 2 compressor...Thanx!
