  1. I'm looking for a software DVD player to play DVD-r's burned on a Panasonic DMR-E50 recorder. I have downloaded the trial version of PowerDVD and I get an error message stating that there is no DVD in the drive. I have tried DVDs burned on different media (all of which work on my sony dvd player) but the only dvds I can play in the computer are the dvd videos that are commercially manufactered. I was hoping to be able to send some of my son's favorite TV shows to him at school. Any help getting Powerdvd working or finding a more suitable player would be greatly appreciated. By the way he will be viewing the dvds on a HP-nx7000.
    Thanks in advance,

  2. Firstly..Are you finalizing your DVD-Rs on your Panasonic ? If not they wont work.

If you are thats weird coz any DVD-Rom /software should play a DVD-R (even if they are crap media)
