Baldrick, it's happening again.![]()
I have an e-mail alias that is used ONLY for these forums, and NEVER given out. Never.
Suddenly I'm getting e-mails from members and spam again, and it's being sent to this address. This is the third alias I've made to combat this problem.
Something is wrong somewhere. Very wrong.
I do answer personal messages, but I prefer people use the PM system here or my e-mail submission form at lordsmurf.com, not a direct e-mail.
And I haven't used the forums drunk anytime that I can remember, so I'm pretty sure I didn't slip up and give it out. I purposely block e-mail here because too many people think I want their attachments and video samples to clog up my inbox. I always route people to PM or the submission form.

Well, I've noticed a lot of cookies coming down from this site, specially when you enter the Latest Video Tools section. I know because I have a "cookie patrol" installed. Maybe that's the reason and Baldrick doesn't know about it.
lordsmurf, have you noticed that?
By the way, congratulations on your great site, smurfie. Here's waiting for the Video Restoration section. -
Well for the record I'm showing 138 javascripts being blocked (looking at the stats for SpamSubtract) on this site since I got home five hours ago.

Bob W,
All mine are logged as "spyware cookies". More than 50 and I know Baldrick has nothing to do with it, he is a very honest person. -
The question remains... How are they getting the address? I still get nothing in my account that can be associated with this site, so not sure what is really going on.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they? -

....your email is clickable....visible....and it has been visible since 14 June. You should have selected that you want your email nonvisible(that is default). You have done it for all your other tools comments.
I could change it and you could change your email and we could see what happens. -
Ahh, son of a.....
Yes, please, remove my e-mail address from that location.
I'd have never thought to check in there, and it auto-updates when I change my address too, doesn't it?
That was probably one of my first things to ever do here.Stupid.
And while you're at it, you can remove my first ATI guide (now offline), the one that comes from "Lordsmurf" ... all the current stuff comes from "lordsmurf.com" .. I reported it a few times, but it's still showing up in the guide list... the link is just a forward to lordsmurf.com now.
Looks like your site is harvested for spam though, given all my e-mails for junk to that address.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)
