    Hi all,

I've read here that the Princo Silver/Blue CDR discs will work on my Sony DVP-S360 player, but after I purchased a spindle of these discs, I've found that they do not... At least in my case.

I used CloneCD to copy a VCD (not SVCD) to a Princo CDR, but I get the "NO DISC" message from the Sony. The copy is good, since it will play on my PC.

Anyone with any thoughts besides "you're screwed"?

    Thanks

    Hi again,

Someone on another thread suggested that maybe the VCD that I copied might not be compliant with my Sony DVP-S360.

Is there a way I can determine if my VCDs are compliant? If so, is there a way to re-author the VCDs which are not compliant to a compliant form?

    Thanks for your help.

  3. Do a search here for your player to see what the specs are plus read the users comments.

    Thanks for your responses.

The problem is I bought a spindle of Princos and I copied a VCD (that didn't play on my S360) to a Princo CDR but it still won't play on my S360.

Oddly, I copied a different VCD (that I know plays on my S360) onto a Princo and it does work on my S360.

Someone on another thread pointed out that it might be a VCD compliance issue. How do I re-author the supposedly non-compliant disc to make it compliant?

    Thanks again for your suggestions.
